Executive Assistant to the President / Leawood, KS
Where are you from?
I was born in Kansas City Missouri and lived on a farm outside Lone Jack, Mo until 2nd grade. We moved to Lincoln NE where I finished all my schooling - including being a Cornhusker at the University of Nebraska. Upon graduating from college and getting married, we moved back to the Kansas City area.
Please tell us a little about your family/home life:
I am married and have two sons. Both are married and we have two wonderful daughter-in-laws. My husband is an educator, deputy superintendent with the Blue Valley Schools. My oldest son, Reggie, lives in San Francisco and is an architectural engineer. My youngest son lives in the Kansas City area and is a financial advisor. Both are graduates from Kansas State University. Our family loves the rivalry between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and K-State Wildcats!
What do you like to do in your "free" time?
I love to spend time with my family and travel. I am an animal lover and love spending time outside. In addition I am part of a small group with our church. Our group helps with special projects like food collection/sorting and fundraisers.
What brought you to Heartland & how long have you been with them?
I have been with Heartland for over 15 years. My husband knew Mr. Cocherl when Patrick served on the Blue Valley School District school board and he put is in contact with each other.
What do you like most about working at Heartland?
That's an easy answer - service!
