Executive Assistant to the President / Leawood, KS
Where are you from?
I was born in Kansas City, Missouri and lived on a farm outside Lone Jack, MO until 2nd grade. We moved to Lincoln, NE where I finished all my schooling - including being a Cornhusker at the University of Nebraska. Upon graduating from college and getting married, we moved back to the Kansas City area.
Please tell us a little about your family/home life:
I am married and we have two sons. Both are married, we have two wonderful daughter-in-laws and 5 grandchildren. My husband has recently retired from the Blue Valley School District. My oldest son, Reggie, lives in San Francisco and is an architectural engineer. My youngest son lives in the Kansas City area and is a financial advisor.
What do you like to do in your "free" time?
I love to spend time with my family and travel. I am an animal lover and love spending time outside. Our grandchildren are a delight and we love being involved with them.
What brought you to Heartland & how long have you been with them?
I have been with Heartland for over 21 years. My husband knew Mr. Cocherl when Patrick served on the Blue Valley School District school board and he put us in contact with each other.
What do you like most about working at Heartland?
That's an easy answer - service and working with all the wonderful people!
